Navigating Special Education
A great resource for family engagement. Understanding the ins and outs of special education is difficult for professionals who do the work daily. Imagine what it is like for parents who only do it once a year or are new to it. This podcast episode explains, from a parent's perspective, how to navigate the world of special education. Great way to build your parents' capacity in order to help them be more engaged in the process. For additional information for families check out the Families of Students with Disabilities on the ODE website.
