Families are important members of the school communities. When schools and families work together toward their common goal of helping all children to be successful, it is much more likely to happen. Families have valuable insights and information about how their children learn best and what types of environmental supports are helpful to them.

Are you looking for a way to improve your PBIS Implementation? You may consider using the Tier 1 Scaling Up Action Plan. This document will guide a building/district PBIS team through the essential components of PBIS Universal Tier 1.

Since 2015, the Ohio Department of Education and the Ohio PBIS Network have hosted the Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports (PBIS) Showcase, an annual event focused on showcasing Ohio’s schools implementing PBIS with high fidelity. This event brings together hundreds of Ohio principals, teachers, counselors, and others to network and share best practices around PBIS implementation to ensure safe and supportive school environments.

With a shared vision for building the capacity of those who lead, teach, and serve students in Ohio’s schools and beyond, we are excited to continue the OLAC and Ohio PBIS Network partnership to host a joint event again this year. This one-day, virtual conference will combine the best of the OLAC Action Forum and the Ohio PBIS Showcase.  Registration is now open.
