Who We Are and What We Do
We are one of 16 regional teams established by the Ohio Department of Education to help improve outcomes for all students, including students with disabilities. We believe that when educators, families, and communities work together, every child can learn and thrive in a global society.
Based on the level of state-designated accountability, we provide no-cost, need-determined professional and personal learning opportunities for school districts, community schools, and families in Ashtabula, Trumbull, Mahoning, and Columbiana counties.
We focus on sustained systemic change in the areas of priority identification, improvement structures, evidence-based instructional practices, gap closure, school climate, early learning, early literacy, equity, secondary transition, and career-technical education.
