• With such a focus on long-term graduation requirements, many high schools are redesigning themselves to offer various options for their students. This is an example from Stark County where they are redesigning their PE credits. If interested here is more information about becoming an official in Ohio. The more creative we are, the more opportunities we give our students when they leave our building.

• Staying with the focus of high school redesign this resource is a good video to help schools think of creative ways to build career connections in their high school. Career connections are a great way to build engagement in students and improve both graduation and dropout percentages. Don’t forget ODE has a career connections framework that can also be used to guide this work.
