Hi Everyone
Three great resources this week all aligned to the Program Structure section of the Taxonomy of Transition Programming. Remember the Taxonomy is a great roadmap for us to use to learn activities and strategies that we can incorporate into our transition program to help improve outcomes for our students. It is not a list of everything we need to do but a guide for us to see which section(s) we can add some activities to in order to make that area of the Taxonomy stronger in our school.
Please make sure to note the OMJ Readiness Seal Sessions at the bottom. There is one session scheduled today at 3. Don’t worry if you cannot make that one there are others scheduled as well.

Roadtrip Nation
Another resource that can fall into multiple sections of the Taxonomy. First, there are some great resources to support student centered planning through career exploration. They also have some documentaries available to watch. There is also a section for educators and instructors. Here there are some great resources and courses that teachers can use with students to improve your program structure.
PBIS in High School; Leveraging the PBIS Framework to support College and Career Readiness
Sometimes we overthink incorporating PBIS into a high school environment. This report does a great job of showing us how we can incorporate PBIS but adapt it to the needs of our older students by showing the connection between PBIS and getting our students college and career ready. Some cool ideas in this report, just remember, don’t try to change your whole program to match but think about maybe one thing you can begin to do to use the PBIS Framework to help your students become more college and career ready.
