Postponed--Early Learning Supervisor's Meeting
Starting 4/2/2020 at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM
Description:
This meeting will bring together individuals who are new (less than 3 years) to a special education leadership position in their districts with early learning supervisors from across the region. The program will provide all participants an opportunity to develop a deeper understanding of the requirements of special education data for monitoring district/program compliance, the new monitoring system as well as updates. It will also provide an opportunity to meet and network with other new and nearly new district Special Education administrators and early learning Special Education supervisors.
Prior registration in STARS is required. ~~ Electronic Devices are welcomed
Outcomes for the series:
Participants will
= be provided support through resources, technical assistance, and guidance on many of the issues they may face in their new position.
= develop/maintain a documented district/program special education processes and procedures manual
= develop/maintain a monthly listing of suggested duties of a special education director/supervisor
= explore other topics of interest/need.
