Happy Halloween. In the spirit of TRICK or Treat, we will play a little trick with the tidbits this week. We all know how much you love resources but this week we wanted to give you a chance to put those resources into action.
Ohio Employment First has a series of case studies that can be used for professional learning. Below are the first few pages of one of the case studies. This case study is based on a student who is hearing impaired. We shared a note-taking template that you can copy and use to fill in your information. Finally, we shared the indicator 13 checklists to help you as you work through this case study.
Next week we will share more of the case study so you can see some examples of PINS and Goals.
In the meantime, please feel free to share with others. Compare your thoughts and talk through the case study with others. The more we collaborate and hear others' thoughts and opinions the more we will grow. Remember, there is not one answer to writing a transition plan. We just have to ensure we are writing plans allowing our students to progress toward their goals.
